Episode 19 — League of Legends NA LCS, World Championships

The next guest on the show is Chris Hopper, the head of Esports for North America at Riot Games.

Chris, AKA RiotChopper, has been with Riot since 2012 and began his time building the League of Legends Championship Series from the ground-up.

He joins me to talk about the ways in which the scene has changed since the inception of the game in 2009 and shares anecdotes about his time working on the production of major events such as Worlds and Spring/Summer split playoffs throughout the years.

The 2018 League of Legends World Championships began on October 1st and Finals will be on November 3. You can find an ongoing schedule of events here.
